What is eDesign?

eDesign is just what it sounds like— interior design services offered completely online – it is considered by many to be simpler, quicker and more affordable than traditional interior design because it’s all online.

It doesn’t matter where you live, as long as you have access to the internet, we can work together on your next interior design project.

Great way to learn about design

If you love to DYI that eDesign might be a good option for you. E-design provides great opportunities to learn about the process of design while working with a professional interior designer. You’ll take photos and measurements of your home to share with us before the project and we’ll discuss the inspiration for your home. After House to Home completes your design, you’ll follow the provided images, guides, and/or shopping lists to purchase your items and set up your space. And if you need help managing the purchases, you can buy a Block of Time and House to Home can do that for you as well!


Reduced turnaround time

Because eDesign projects are usually done on a smaller scale, usually one room at a time, the turnaround time for a completed design is much quicker. House to Home can complete room designs in less than a month so you can get started setting up your space quickly.

Another added benefit to eDesign is once your design is complete, you’re on your own to shop for your space & set everything up. This means it’s entirely up to you whether you want to order everything at once or buy your items over time. With traditional interior design projects, not making design decisions or purchases can really affect the overall timeline of your project and sometimes lead to a higher overall project cost.


Great design, reduced cost

 eDesign is typically more affordable than traditional interior design. Because you are doing some of the legwork for the project (taking measurements, handling orders, etc.), you won’t have to pay us to do those things. You end up saving money, which can then be spent on items for your home.

We hired Carmela for a full renovation of our main bathrooms. We are thrilled with the results! Carmela was an excellent designer to work with. She had great ideas and gave us choices to select from.
